How you will contribute: Managing and developing US international tax planning strategies and projects and their implementation Tax consulting in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions Partnering with business leaders for international transactions, IC-DISC administration and compliance, and ASC 740 tax provision Researching complex tax issues and preparing technical memos and documentation Working with tax professionals domestically and internationally Quantitative analysis Managing, developing, and coaching professional staff We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Ability to recognize areas of opportunity through critical evaluation and identify solutions Experience with working in a variety of industries Dedication to client service Excellent project management skills and ability to meet stringent client deadlines Excellent analytical skills An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team members Team and engagement management skills Innovative ideas to servicing clientele Communication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite An ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goals Ability to travel extensively to support clients Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation, Masters in Accounting or JD/LLM (with undergraduate in business-related field) Minimum of 5 years of business tax experience Experience with other large accounting firms or large corporate tax department of a multinational company Consulting and compliance experience Experience with ASC 740 Preferred Qualifications: CPA license Experience with IC-DISCs Experience with GoSystem Tax RS and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE International tax experience #LI-TPA, #LI-ATL, #LI-CHI, #LI-IND, #LI-CLTSP, #LI-HOU, #LI-TYS #LI-SS1 Illinois Wage Transparency Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non-exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek.
