Summary:
The Director - Nursing - Long Term Care role plans, directs and coordinates activities of the Nursing Department to ensure the facility's compliance with current nurse practice standards and state and federal regulations and to provide a quality living experience for the residents. In the absence of the Administrator, assumes responsibility for the continuing daily operations of the facility.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Education:Graduate of an accredited Nursing School required. BSN or Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Active State License as a Professional Registered Nurse required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of rehabilitative and/or geriatric nursing experience required. One year of Nursing Administration experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
