Kyocera Senior Environmental Specialist (EHS5813)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Senior Environmental Specialist will collaborate closely with both administrative and production teams to sustain and enhance our programs. The position will oversee compliance programs, engage with regulatory agencies, to ensure that the facility's operations comply with all environmental laws and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including air emissions, water quality, hazardous waste, and chemical safety. 2. Permit Management: Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and compliance of all necessary environmental permits. 3. Inspection Coordination: Prepare for and coordinate inspections by regulatory agencies, ensuring all documentation and facility conditions meet regulatory standards. 4. Environmental Reporting: Compile and submit all required environmental reports to regulatory bodies accurately and on time. 5. Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs for employees on environmental regulations, compliance procedures, and best practices. 6. Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. 7. Auditing & Monitoring: Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement. 8. Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, including permits, reports, inspections, and training records. 9. Sustainability Initiatives: Support and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the facility's operations. 10. Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for environmental incidents and provide training to staff. 11. Health and Safety Program Support: As necessary, support health and safety initiatives, programs, and compliance goals established by the EH&S Department. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
