Job Description:

Benefits Coordinator - Golden Valley, MN Team

The Benefit Coordinator will assist in handling benefit administrative and compliance tasks.

  • Effectively process administrative billing
  • Provide assistance to retiree inquiries
  • Manage retiree medical payment processing
  • Assist with routine vendor and HRIS audits to ensure accuracy of benefit records
  • Supports company compliance with federal and state laws relating to benefits (including but not limited to Affordable Care Act and HIPAA)
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS preferred. CEBS certification or advanced training in benefits desired
  • Any previous experience relating to medical, pharmacy, dental, 401k, and outsourced benefits administration experience is preferred
  • General knowledge of current trends applicable laws and regulations relating to employee benefits is preferred
  • Previous experience with Workday is desired
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay is $25.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Position Hours/Schedule:

Hybrid- Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm. Mandatory in office 3 days a week (Monday and Wednesday are required). Third day in office is optional between Tuesday and Thursday.
