Overview

The Financial Systems Administrator 4 is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining financial systems.



What you will be doing

    Create and manage projects involving complex installations, upgrades and modernization of financial systems
  • Respond to and resolve requests and issues related to complex financial systems
  • Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
  • Perform complex to the most complex financial systems maintenance
  • Develop standards for internal documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to process; compose documentation that reflects processes and requirements for financial systems
  • Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
  • Identify need to implement additional functionality in current systems and for new technology purchases
  • Create and present proposals on technical specifications and requirements for purchasing of new financial systems
  • Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy


What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience and expertise in systems administration
  • 8 years of Experience with accounting or financial reporting
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
  • Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
  • Excellent knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, financial statements and internal controls
  • Excellent knowledge of systems administration
  • Up to 5% travel time required

Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $100,000-122,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits
