Description Maine Medical Center Professional - Clinical Req #: 20744 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Registered Nurses: Registered Nurses - New Grads to 2 years of experience: $10,000 (full time) Registered Nurses with more than 2 years of experience: $20,000 (full time) Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Summary: The Staff Development Specialist RN role participates in the design and evaluation of the Nursing Services education plan for all nursing team members. Develops and implements selected offerings and is a consultant on all others. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Master's Degree in Nursing required. If Master's Degree is not in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree must be in Nursing. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse and/or RCIS Technologist required. Position may be shared by one or more disciplines. Experience: Two years of clinical experience with background in teaching required. One year of related experience demonstrating comprehensive understanding of nursing theory and practice, organizational structures and related roles and relationships required.
