Senior Assembler Developer - Security Seeking a senior level z/OS Product Developer to work on the mainframe development team for industry-leading security software. As a senior member of the product development team at BMC you are responsible for designing and coding mainframe software, defining functional requirements and participating in all development efforts to produce high quality, high performing and fault tolerant software. The role requires a thorough knowledge of the z/OS operating system internals, Assembler and C/C++ languages, the software development life cycle and the processes involved in product development and maintenance, use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to assist in solving complex problems. Must have the ability to work on highly complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Must exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits. At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range.
