Intensivist Physician (MD/DO) TeleICU Program (Remote)

UNC Physicians Network is seeking a full time Board Certified/Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide virtual Tele-ICU services for multiple UNC hospitals. This 100% remote opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a virtual practice. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.

About This Position:

*100% Remote Position, working 7PM-7AM, 7on-7off with possible variability based on team consensus to maximize flexibility and work-life balance.
*Virtual ICU management for adult patients 18 and older. *Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina or Pennsylvania.
*Competitive compensation and benefits.
*EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.
*Seamless EPIC based workflow eliminates delays in care by allowing direct communication from nurses and other in-hospital staff, eliminating the need for an intermediary and allowing for more efficient communications and expedited care.

Ideal Candidate:

*2+ years of experience is required.
*Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care; Pulmonary Medicine Board Certification/Eligibility preferred.
*ICU experience is a plus.
*Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required.
*Open-minded and flexible with change.
*Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
