SENIOR GLOBAL PAYROLL SPECIALIST POSITION OVERVIEW Global Payroll Specialist needed to manage multi-country payroll operations for a rapidly growing organization with 500+ employees across the US, New Zealand, Australia, UK, and Canada. This role will be instrumental in scaling payroll operations as the company expects to double in size within the next year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process semi-monthly payroll for US and Canadian employees, and monthly payroll for international staff Manage payroll operations across 13 distinct companies with multiple Federal Employer Identification Numbers (FEINs) Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements in all operating countries Coordinate with benefits coordinator to maintain accurate employee data and deductions Implement and optimize payroll procedures across global operations Support integration of new entities during mergers and acquisitions Maintain and leverage Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of multi-country payroll experience Deep knowledge of US and international payroll regulations Strong project management and process improvement skills Experience with payroll systems implementation and integration Excellence in data analysis and reconciliation Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Ceridian Dayforce Merger and acquisition payroll integration experience Track record of establishing new payroll procedures Knowledge of payroll operations in NZ, AUS, UK, and Canadian markets Experience managing multiple legal entities and FEINs WORK ENVIRONMENT Independent role working closely with benefits coordinator Fast-paced, high-growth environment Remote work options available (hybrid-2 days in office) Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
