Join our Oak Creek, WI team as a Business Intelligence Intern! Our internships are hands on, highly technical, and designed to let you see what it's like to work at Astronautics. This is a paid undergraduate intern opportunity. As a business intelligence intern, you will work closely with business intelligence team supporting the business with data driven requests. Our summer intern program consists of at least 10 weeks of real-world experience.

In addition to business intelligence, we have open opportunities in IT support this summer. Mentors are assigned to assist interns in achieving related career development that is of mutual benefit to you and Astronautics. Our internship program includes events and opportunities to meet other interns and employees across the organization.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for working with data and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with multiple stakeholders across the business to define requirements for metrics that provide critical visibility into key business process
  • Create and validate automated reports that integrate data from multiple sources
  • Generate effective and meticulously accurate metrics in a timely fashion
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement

Desired Skills:

  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Capability of working independently with limited oversight from senior team members

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Current accredited college or university enrollment with sophomore, junior or senior standing; making progress towards an undergraduate degree in Computer or Data Science, Mathematics, or Finance
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and/or Power BI (DAX)
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
  • Able to work full-time onsite during the summer of 2025
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Desired

  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to work part-time during the school year
  • Data manipulation with R or Python
  • SQL/Relational DB organization a plus
