THE JOB:

As a Guest Room Attendant at the upscale hotel at MGM Springfield, your primary duties will include thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction

STARTING RATE: $17.65 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Your responsibilities will also include making beds, replenishing linens, towels, and amenities, restocking consumables, and addressing guest requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Clean bathrooms by scrubbing basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile floors with damp rags and proper chemicals when applicable
• Place clean bathmats on tubs and/or shower doors and clean towels on towel racks
• Report unusual room conditions or rooms in need of repair
• Complete all duties in accordance with the room classification checklist

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
