We are seeking a highly motivated and talented SDET with a strong background in API testing to join our dynamic team. As a SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and automation. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive testing of APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand API requirements and design test cases. Design, develop, and execute automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring their timely resolution. Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and propose effective solutions. Continuously improve and optimize test coverage and automation scripts. Work closely with the development team to facilitate the integration and testing of APIs within the software architecture. Requirements & Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience authoring common APIs and libraries for test automation Strong understanding of API testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript. Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team environment. Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
