We are seeking a highly motivated and talented SDET with a strong background in API testing to join our dynamic team. As a SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and automation.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand API requirements and design test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test coverage and automation scripts.
  • Work closely with the development team to facilitate the integration and testing of APIs within the software architecture.


Requirements & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience authoring common APIs and libraries for test automation
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
$57 $85 USD
