We are looking for a Global Supply Planner to support our supply chain team by ensuring that inventory is available to support manufacturing and customer sales order requirements. As a Trex Global Supply Planner your responsibilities will include PO management, ERP accuracy, and materials management to 3rd party manufacturing and storage locations. As a member of our Supply Chain team, you'll be managing complex problems and tasks in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop daily, weekly, or monthly ordering plans by reviewing forecast streams, demands for promotions, production schedules, and inventory positions at the SKU level.
  • Balance orders against vendor capability and optimize inventory to achieve quarterly inventory targets.
  • Place and monitor purchase orders to support production plans with consideration to minimum order requirements, lead times, cost effectiveness, batch splits, seasonality, product changes and new product launches.
  • Identify potential stock issues and communicate to cross functional groups to support effective prioritization and decision making in production scheduling or customer order fulfillment.
  • Identify potential slow-moving or obsolete inventory and communicate to drive disposition and appropriate decision-making.
  • Support new product launch teams as the Supply Chain primary point of contact.
  • Manage inventory levels for 3rd party warehousing, ensuring adequate supply to fulfill customer demand and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage movement of materials to and from 3rd party manufacturers.
  • Maintain ERP planning parameters to ensure system accuracy - safety stock, lead-time, order multiples, etc.



EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics or related field required.
  • ERP experience is required. JD Edwards preferred.
  • Excellent skills in problem solving, with demonstrated ability to leverage Microsoft Excel to convert data to information that drives decisions.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and be over the age of 18.



Base Salary Range $75,000-$95,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
