SOX Compliance Analyst

Job Summary:

As a NetApp Senior SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) Analyst, you are part of a team of professionals who plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives for the Finance SOX Compliance Program. Additionally, you will provide consultation on the Sarbanes Oxley Compliance requirements and provide recommendations on key business process and internal controls related to various business processes. Strong process and program management and communication skills, along with strong compliance technical competencies are key to the success in this role.

Job Responsibilies:
  • Plan and perform SOX 404 testing for ICFR and SOX compliance
  • Oversee global ICFR program and drive process improvement for SOX compliance in Finance
  • Design test plans and identify root causes of issues through risk analysis
  • Perform process walkthroughs and document process narratives and flows
  • Evaluate key control effectiveness and recommend Finance process improvements
  • Assess SOX control impact and monitor remediation efforts for identified deficiencies
  • Execute quarterly sub-certification and reporting processes, summarizing results
  • Facilitate audit cycles as the main liaison with external auditors
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to work independently and collaboratively
  • Build relationships across the organization, including remote teams, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Auditing or Accounting
  • Experience working with ICFR and SOX compliance, and internal control design and operations within Finance organization
  • CPA certification with Big 4 external audit experience is preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent practical experience

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $98K - $127K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
