Fabricator/Welder

Pay Range: $31 - $34.50 per hour

Shift Available: 2 PM-10 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday)

Responsibilities:

• Operate lathe and milling machines, and perform welding tasks
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot production machinery
• Set up, tear down, and perform repairs and installations on plant equipment
• Identify issues using precision instruments and hand tools
• Perform maintenance, including welding food-safe equipment and fabricating parts
• Assist with reducing downtime and educate production workers on maintenance
• Use SAP to document maintenance activities and communicate with operations
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols
• Participate in training to improve trade skills and performance
• Fabricate equipment for processing and packaging (guards, mounts, conveyors)
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• 1 year of previous experience
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment (welding experience preferred)
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and building skills
• Ability to read safety documents and maintenance manuals
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Proficient in work orders and computer data entry
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
