JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist & Business Partner to support defined client groups within our organization. This position is an integral part of the US Human Resources team delivering best practices, policy adherence, and HR services to all levels of staff. The successful individual will represent Doble Engineering in a highly ethical and professional manner. This individual must be highly motivated, organized, and self- directed, who can handle a variety of sensitive and confidential matters.

This position will have exposure and involvement in several functional areas within the full range of HR; including but not limited to recruitment, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and legal compliance. The role is located in our Marlborough, Mass. office and will report to the Sr. Manager, HR.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals that drive performance, engagement, and
  • Provide consultation, insight and guidance and coaching to managers and employees in a wide variety of HR related areas, such as talent management, organization design and workforce
  • Collaborates closely with executives and managers to optimize workforce productivity to achieve business
  • Manage employee relations matters, providing coaching and resolutions to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Collaboratively works with other members of the human resources team on various programs including compensation planning, employee engagement and culture building
  • Analyze current HR programs and trends to evaluate effectiveness of programs; participate in surveys and other benchmarking
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
  • Flexible attitude with a commitment to achieve time sensitive results in a fast-paced
  • Ensure employees and managers are provided with development
  • Performs other related duties as required and

QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION:

A bachelor's degree with business or HR focus and 7+ years progressive HR experience, working within a fast-paced, complex, business environment. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, comparable related HR experience will be considered.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR; including HR best practices in compensation, employee relations and employment

  • Strong Business Partner skills including a collaborative work style with ability to interface with all levels of staff and management and work well within a

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):

  • Experience using UKG
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) certification preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds. Must use assistance when lifting 50 or more pounds.

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job related skills, as well as relevant education or training experience.
