Intern - Business analyst

Position Overview:

This temporary position will involve working with the various Professional Services teams under the Business Analysis (BA) department. The Intern will get an opportunity to interact with team members, Mentors and Team Leads managing the BA department and learn the basics of how Healthcare Business Analysis services are offered to customers implementing the eClinicalWorks suite of solutions including the core Electronic Health Records system, patient-engagement (HEALOW) solutions as well as population health management tools. The Intern will also assist with a range of tasks pertaining to the services offered including external client outreach campaigns, internal process improvement projects and new service initiatives.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:



  • Work with respective Team Leads and Mentors to get a basic understanding of the different types of Business Analysis services offered by eClinicalWorks.
  • Assist Team Leads and Mentors on a few critical initiatives including internal process improvement and new services.
  • Reach out to customer leads assigned and follow templates / scripts to introduce various service options available.
  • Complete surveys and questionnaires to gauge customer interest in a particular product / service.
  • Assist with scheduling detailed demos with eClinicalWorks subject matter experts, as needed.
  • Assist with auditing processes and tasks in eManager - the eClinicalWorks Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Assist with cleaning up task backlog in the CRM system.
  • Assist with other activities linked to the internal process improvement projects.



Basic Requirements:



  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power point).
  • Ability to quickly learn new information about programs / services.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be organized.
  • Pro-active in follow-up and communication.
  • Strong work ethics and discipline.
