Engineering Technician III

Solvere is seeking a full-time position to provide maintenance and modernization support to Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must demonstrate the following requirements:

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of Naval equipment, modernization, and operations; other commands, i.e., FLEET, TYCOMs, NAVSEA, and ISEAs; and JFMM and NMP-MOM requirements and milestones.
• Demonstrate familiarity with NAVSEA, Planning Yard, and OEM drawings.
• Demonstrate ability to interpret detailed specifications, alteration requirements, and other government forms supplying integral data for shipboard modernization.
• Must have recent and current general experience within three (3) years unless designated below.
  
  
  
  • Ability to utilize computers including the Microsoft Office Suite for reviewing and compiling information for data entry and transferring files and electronic/digital scans.
  
  
  
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, especially in public.
• Demonstrate an understanding of activity missions, chain of command structure, organizational objectives, and administrative policies.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining, organizing, tracking the status, and prioritization of engineering documents (both physical and electronic records).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have High School Diploma.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Secret Clearance to be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
