Our Water and Environment Business Unit (WEBU) focuses on innovative and sustainable solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure, water resources, and environmental planning and compliance projects that make a lasting impact on communities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team, ideally in the Puget Sound Region, located in our Bellevue office. This is an exciting opportunity to support impactful water and environmental projects alongside a highly skilled team. What You'll Do: As a Project Coordinator at DEA, you will play a key role in the success of diverse water and environmental projects by taking on responsibilities like:
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating closely with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to build strong relationships.
- Project Financial Management: Partner with project managers to forecast costs, manage budgets, and create financial reports to keep projects on track.
- Contract & Change Management: Handle contracts including project setups, scope changes, and change orders to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
- Invoicing: Prepare project invoices and progress reports, and process subconsultant invoices.
- Data Compilation & Analysis: Support budgeting, documentation, and data analysis to track project progress and financial health.
- Team Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams on scope and fee development, project tracking, and document preparation.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure action items are addressed.
- Tracking & Auditing: Monitor contracts, task orders, and project schedules, while conducting quality audits to maintain excellence.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in a project coordination role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and financial tracking tools.
- Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and general accounting practices.
- Strong customer service and quality control experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-Starter: Positive attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
- Industry Experience: Background in the AEC industry
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with SharePoint documentation and site administration.
- Project Management Skills: Experience managing scope, schedule, and budgets for complex projects.

- Anticipated hourly pay range for this non-exempt position is $31.00 to $44.00, based on experience and qualifications.
