Responsibilities

Under general supervision, this position supports community development activities and initiatives aimed at serving underserved communities in alignment with organizational goals.

This position will oversee our Think Big For Kids High School Think Tank Summer Internship Program for High School (HS) students. You will assist by:

    Organizing and managing daily activities, schedules, and resources for the HS think tank interns.
  • Leading discussions, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to encourage creative thinking and collaboration among HS interns.
  • Maintaining accurate records of HS intern progress, attendance, and program activities for reporting purposes.
  • Assisting in assessing the effectiveness of the program and providing feedback for future improvements.

Internship to start Summer 2025.

Competitive pay starting at $20/hr.



Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of Customer Service experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with visualization/presentation tools preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds without assistance (or with reasonable accommodation).
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment:

  • This position is in-person. You'll thrive in the energetic environment of our HQ in Tampa, FL.
  • This schedule is set. You'll work Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm.
