Logistics Account Executive Jacksonville, FL \| Direct Hire \| Growth Opportunity Vaco is hiring a Logistics Account Executive in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for individuals with freight brokerage, logistics sales, or 3PL experience who want to work independently while leveraging corporate support. Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new business relationships with shippers and customers. Manage the full shipment lifecycle: quoting, booking, tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery. Negotiate carrier rates to maximize profitability and maintain competitive pricing. Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure capacity and reliability. Provide top-tier customer service, addressing concerns and resolving shipment issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Track and report on shipment status, financial performance, and key metrics. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or 3PL operations. Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, and intermodal freight. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth. Familiarity with TMS systems and load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.). An established book of business is a plus but not required.
