Position Summary

Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Deputy Program Manager with a technical background supporting multiple programs in Killeen, TX. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about leadership, personnel development, and DoD test and evaluation activities. The selected candidate will work in an office environment at the Trideum office in Killeen, TX. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager and serve as the Texas Programs Site Lead. This role assists with budget, scheduling, profit/loss, meeting deadlines, and deliverables associated with the program. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to be integrally involved in the continued development and refinement of systems to be utilized in the multi-domain operational environment. This role requires dedication and the ability to operate independently in case of the Program Manager absence. In this role, the Deputy Program Manager must be flexible and adaptable to meet emergent customer needs.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Perform Program Manager duties in the absence of the Program Manager.
  • Understand the customer, their mission, and their current capabilities.
  • Assist the Program Manager with contract planning, coordination, control, and direction in relation to contract execution.
  • Assist the Program Manager with providing oversight in various engineering, analysis, and general support activities as related to customer requirements.
  • Maintain direct touchpoints/meetings with government leads (supported customer, KO/COR, et al).
  • Develop, track, and deliver contract deliverables and required responses.
  • Track and manage contract financials to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Assist with conducting personnel management to include both full-time and part-time employees in terms of hiring, training, and task assignment.
  • Ensure all rules, regulations, and directives issued are adhered to by all employees.
  • Manage and provide technical expertise and services in areas focused on future operational testing, multi-domain operational environment, data and analytics, cybersecurity, electronic warfare, test and evaluation, and quality.
  • Direct completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
  • Schedule and assign duties to subordinates and subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed.
  • Prepare and conduct special reports and presentations pertinent to company products and services, field operations or other applications.


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline
  • 3 years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on DoD contracts or projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope
  • Possess experience working on and demonstrated leadership responsibilities on large projects or programs
  • Relevant/Recent experience managing software development/product lifecycle programs
  • Experience with multiple contract types, to include FFP, T&M, and/or CPFF
  • Experience working in an IDIQ / Multiple Task Order management environment
  • Experienced managing programs using a matrixed workforce
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills required
  • Experienced in creating briefings as well as briefing senior leadership within Army organizations
  • US Citizenship and must possess a current DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance


Desired Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline with +3 years of relevant program management experience
  • +3 years of administrative experience supporting DoD or other scientific / technical programs
  • +2 years of experience in a DoD acquisition project office environment
  • PMP, PgMP or similar certification
  • Technical Expertise with PEO-STRI, ATEC, and/or experience with DoD Contracting
  • High level of fluency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent with Microsoft Project
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
