SENIOR SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to develop software that ensures a high level of quality for variable frequency drives, focusing on developing software tests that can run on a variety of hardware configurations and across a variety of test environments.

Duties:

• Execute embedded software test projects from planning through maintenance for new and existing products;
• Develop and maintain software for verifying product functionality;
• Analyze regression test runs and perform maintenance testing as well as manual verification testing;
• Create user stories to facilitate planning and long-term project goals;
• Create accurate estimates and breakdown of work needed to complete a user story.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5 years experience with software test design and development for Variable Frequency Drives.
• 5 years experience developing automated tests. 2 years experience with Software Configuration Management Tools such as Git and Azure Devops.

Rate of Pay $134,000-139,000 per year

Work conditions Full time, 40 hours per week
