What will you do? Analyze how new technology could benefit and fit in the existing setup, engineer roadmaps to integrate new technology into existing systems Plan routine and complex changes system changes, including validation plans, and implement approved changes Create/maintain support documents and update operations manuals, standard operating procedures, and life-cycle documentation Work either independently or with a team - provide troubleshooting and support for complex issues - provide solutions to maintain the stability, availability, and reliability of server environments Work within standards and guidelines for development and support of new solutions Work with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure proper execution, business, and strategic alignment of solutions Work with new technologies and transform legacy technology to leverage the cloud services Configure, manage, maintain, and continuously improve server, application, and system performance, based on recommendations Participation in the on-call rotation for production support and after-hours implementations as required What do you need to succeed? Strong analytical and technical skill set, able to communicate and organize complex implementation changes Ability to perform under pressure in an enterprise production environment Ability to multitask and manage deliverables for multiple projects in timely manner Excellent documentation skills Extensive experience in working with Red Hat and other Linux distributions Experience utilizing and supporting compute and other services in Amazon Web Services Software development and/or scripting experience using Python Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and Azure DevOps Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes / Docker container infrastructure Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to successfully work within a result driven team and organization Requirements/Preferred Skills: Minimum Current certification(s) - Linux Professional Institute LPIC-2 or Red Hat RHCE Experience with cloud services - Amazon Web Services preferred Proficient in administration of servers running Red Hat and other Linux based distributions Experience in administration of OpenShift clusters, Kubernetes and/or Docker containers Proficient with scripting languages - Python preferred Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as HashiCorp Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation Experience creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, or alternatively AWS CodePipeline Experience with configuration management tools - Ansible preferred Successful completion of a Computer Science degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure production environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. Salary Range: $98,400 - $147,600 At our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to your base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on your individual performance as well as the overall performance of the business.
