401k & Company Match Position Summary: The Senior Manager Financial Planning - Business Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight for all technology-related initiatives across North America. This position requires a strong understanding of both business and technology, as well as the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. This role has crucial responsibilities to ensure that technological investments align with business objectives and are financially sound. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for technology investments, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with other departmental directors to ensure seamless integration of technology finance into overall corporate financial planning.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and control technology-related expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising project objectives.
- Oversee the financial aspects of technology projects, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to the leadership team highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and risks associated with technology projects.
- Provide insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities associated with technology investments.
- Act as a key advisor to the leadership team, providing insights into the financial implications of technology decisions and initiatives.
- Work closely with technology leaders to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess the ROI of technology investments and provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation.
- Establish and enforce financial controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and technology teams to negotiate contracts and pricing with technology vendors.
- Assess the financial implications of emerging technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.
- Evaluate vendor performance from a financial perspective and ensure alignment with contractual agreements.
- Contribute to the development of long-term technology strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Position Requirements: Key Behavioral Competencies:
- Professional leadership skills and the ability to develop relationships with others, including senior management.
- Ability to guide several direct reports - responsible for organizational alignment, performance, and personnel growth / career advancement.
Education and Work History:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is highly desirable. 10+ years of experience required.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within a technology-driven organization.
- In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- * Proven ability to impact and influence cross functional leaders to make better decisions in order to achieve business results.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technology project management methodologies and processes.
- Experience with Qlik and/or Power BI is encouraged but not required.
