US Synthetic, a ChampionX company, has an immediate need for an IT Field Service Technician located in Orem, UT. The IT Field Service Technician will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Respond to phone calls, text, email, and personnel requests for technical support. Document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. What You Will Do: Manage and maintain day-to-day end user device support such as laptops, desktops, printers, iPads, etc... Set up new computers with basic software needs. Collaborate with other IT employees regarding troubleshooting, analyzing problems and researching solutions as needed Installing and maintaining Windows 10 Be available 24/7 by phone, text, and email Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED is required Experience in an IT Service Desk position or related education Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Physical Demands: Sit or stand for up to eight hours Must be able to use a ladder, carry 50+ lbs.
