Position Summary:

Winchester Interconnect seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials necessary for our manufacturing/production/operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a related field, possess strong analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Materials Coordinator will assist in the planning, procuring, and distributing materials, ensuring timely availability while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. This position will work closely with various departments, including purchasing, production, and quality control.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or purchasing is a plus, but recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Syspro) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach.

• Assist in the development and implementation of material planning strategies.
• Collaborate with purchasing to expedite orders and resolve delivery issues.
• Support the implementation of new inventory management systems or processes.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
• Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, material usage, and other key metrics.
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and performance review of new suppliers.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and waste reduction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $20- $28 per hour. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
