Supplier Development Engineer-1

We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as an Supplier Development Engineer

As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.

The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for assuring that customer requirements are understood and translated into robust processes which comply with legal and quality approval requirements. This is achieved by working with all employees to increase the company's efficiency, effectiveness and profitability by identifying and facilitating opportunities for improvement.

To drive continuous improvement within designated Suppliers, to deliverable measurable benefit to Incora. To be achieved through leading and coaching suppliers to deliver performance improvements into Incora and to drive supply chain risk mitigation.

About you

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of education and experience.
• Sigma or Lean accreditation.
• 5-8 years of project management experience
• 5-8 years of experience of delivering change programs

Qualifications

• Build relationships with designated supplier leadership teams to influence improvement activities within the supplier and to promote continuous improvement.
• Undertake capability assessments on suppliers and drive subsequent closure of corresponding action plans to reduce overall supplier risk.
• To drive supplier improvement through deployment of supplier charters ensuring activities delivers measurable performance benefits to Incora.
• Provide technical support to commodity strategy sourcing and product transfers, to minimise risk of this activity.
• Travel on company business where necessary and with due notice to effectively improve supplier performance.
• Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
