A part of the UCF Division of Digital Learning, Continuing Education (CE) provides high-quality and cost-effective opportunities through re-education, training, professional advancement, and personal growth. Continuing Education has a hybrid work environment, where employees work on site at the Research Park in Orlando, and remotely on a set schedule.

The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Continuing Education (CE) unit as a Program Manager I and play a pivotal role in driving the implementation, growth, and expansion of our innovative programs, services, and partnerships. As a Program Manager, you will oversee the coordination and administration of ongoing programs, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and evaluating program activities.

One Manager position will lead an internal committee, manage procedures for program administration, and ensure compliance with financial processes, including third-party payment processes. The other Manager position will manage administrative services for several market rate and self-sustaining graduate programs, develop relationships with prospective and current university subject matter experts, and vet proposals for new non-credit programming.

Reporting to a director, you will serve as a key liaison among program coordinators and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our programs.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage various continuing education programs, ensuring their successful implementation and growth.

  • Collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders, supervise staff as assigned, and lead program development and evaluation efforts.

  • Financial management and reporting, ensuring compliance and quality assurance, and working closely with marketing personnel to promote programs.

  • Participate in relevant committees to support the overall mission and goals of the Continuing Education unit.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Project management or program management experience.

  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, training and development, or related fields.

  • Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools.

  • Experience with learning management systems, student information systems, Workday, or similar programs.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Master's degree.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Strong sense of integrity and professionalism, fostering credibility and trust in all interactions.
