Responsible for the implementation, tracking, and maintenance of product inventories used in conjunction with Convention, Wet Lab, Loaners, T&E (Trial & Evaluation) and sample account programs.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicates daily with Sales Representatives, Marketing Department and customers to fulfill their requests for Convention, Wet Lab, Loaners, T&E and sample account product via phone, email or fax.
  • Tracks and maintains product inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Enters and updates inventory records in SAP.
  • Orders, stages, and prepares equipment for shipping.
  • Facilitates the return process and disposition of excess, inactive or obsolete products.
  • Receives returned instrumentation, coordinates inspections and repairs, and returns instrumentation to the inventory pool utilizing SAP.
  • Maintains organized and accurate records, follows up on overdue equipment, and ensures timely returns.
  • Conducts cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Performs in-house physical inventories as required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists other Inventory team members as needed.
  • Possible travel to close out inventories.
  • Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Operations Manager & Inventory Team Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service and/or inventory position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills required; MS Office XP Suite of Products.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, SAP highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with endoscopic equipment preferred.
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
  • The following physical demands are required:
    1. Lift/Carry 25+ pounds
    2. Bend/Stoop/Kneel 4 hours per day
    3. Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours per day
    4. Push/pull 50+ pounds
