The position will commence as early as July 1, 2025, or as negotiated. Our Program, School, and University This hire would have the option of placement in one or more area groups based, joining scholars who examine issues of power and in/equity in education across focal areas including, race and ethnic studies, racial ideologies and higher education policy, school psychology, counseling psychology. The scholar would be expected to teach master's and doctoral students, and contribute to the undergraduate major. UCR is a member of the American Association of Universities (AAU). "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. Advancement through the faculty ranks at the University of California is through a series of structured, merit-based evaluations, occurring every 2-3 years, each of which includes substantial peer input.
