Patient Service Rep

Mercy Clinic Neurology - Oklahoma City Suite 218

Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, Full-Time

Overview:

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures that the patient experience is positive and seamless by managing front desk operations and workflows. The Patient Service Representative will facilitate all components of the patients' entrance in to any Mercy facility. This may include scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre-certification and financial clearance including pre-visit collection.

Qualifications:

Patient Service Representative

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience Preferred: One year of applicable medical office experience

Advanced Patient Service Representative

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience Required: Current Patient Service Reps who are moving to Advanced title on the career ladder must complete both Patient Service Rep and Advanced PR competencies prior to being promoted.
