Deputy Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Deputy Project Manager to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI to support the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Crew Optimization & Augmentation (COAT) program. This program will develop, integrate, and test advanced technologies designed to aid ground vehicle crew members in the execution of their roles and missions by conducting soldier experiments. As the Deputy Project Manager, you be part of a cross-functional team to design, integrate, and test the technologies under investigation by the COAT program in an iterative cycle.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules, identify and track project milestones

Work closely with government and DCS project managers to ensure planning and execution aligns with program goals and objectives.

Monitor project budgets.

Monitor and report on technology development, integration, and testing.

Conduct weekly project status meetings

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance before the first day of work.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience in an engineering discipline is required.

Experience with management and execution of research and development programs for DoD manned and unmanned ground vehicles.

Experience with management of test events involving human subjects research.

Experience with management of Unreal based simulation test events.

Experience with management of field test events using real military vehicles.

Experience as a liaison between US Army Research, Development, and Engineering Centers (RDECs) and US Army Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs).
