Advantage Technical is
looking for a Research and Development Technician to join our team in Arden Hills, MN. This position is focused on product testing and involves a variety of mechanical and electrical testing procedures for medical products, specifically leads and catheters. Keep reading to learn more.

Requirements



  • Education: An associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline (e.g., assembler, operator, test technician).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Candidates with experience operating complex equipment will be considered.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data management + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.



Research and Development Technician Key Responsibilities



  • Mechanical Testing: Conduct pull testing, flex testing, torque testing, and extension/retraction testing.
  • Electrical Testing: Perform high voltage/current testing as required.
  • Data Capture: Meticulously set up tests and accurately capture data.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality systems and protocols throughout the testing process.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize semi-automated testing equipment while maintaining attention to detail.



Additional Information



  • The role may involve repetitious tasks but will also include a variety of tests requiring versatility.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently and interpret directions effectively.



Job Details



  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT
  • Location: Onsite in Arden Hills, MN
  • Pay: $36 per hour
