We are in search of an HR Advisor II or HR Advisor III to join our Human Resources department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the Director, HR and is accountable for providing human resource (HR) services in a variety of disciplines, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and employment practices.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level II: $64,600 - $97,500; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Level III: $78,000 - $111,000; bonus at target is 12% of salary.

Job Requirements

  • Provide consultation and support to managers and employees related to performance management and employee relations, including complex situations and investigations. Coordinate with internal and external counsel, as needed.
  • Support the planning and execution of recurring performance management processes and communications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of talent management processes.
  • Facilitate full cycle recruiting process, following established processes and procedures.
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, determine optimal course of action to identify and secure talent, and ensure hiring team is equipped for success.
  • Effectively market the organization to potential candidates and negotiate employment offers for assigned positions.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, procedures, and compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, within scope of role.
  • Assist HR Department management and others across the organization with various projects and assignments as needed.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Generally, requires at least 3 years' progressively responsible and complex HR experience
  • Knowledge of employee relations and workplace investigation practices
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgement and navigate ambiguous situations
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent, effective communication skills to build trusted advisor status
  • Ability to create written communications that are concise and appropriate to context

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of employment law
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
