Ambulatory Care Administrative Coordinator 2 Temporary Employment Program Temporary Employment 83929BR Job Summary The duration of this temporary role is approximately six months. Includes optional medical benefits, sick leave accrual, and holiday pay. Please note: assignment will be at St. Mary's, but the initial training will be at Parnassus campus. The Administrative Coordinator will be oversee a number of operational functions in support of the Interventional Cardiology Labs (Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology). This role will be the primary liasion between UCSF West Bay and UCSF St.Mary's Hospital with a primary focus on Interventional Cardiology procedures.This role will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of outpatient interventional cardiovascular procedures at UCSF St. Mary's Hospital; ensuring appropriate authorization has been obtained and documented; communicating with referring and performing providers, patients, and other UCSF peers or administrative teams; daily review of outpatient and any inpatient requests; maintaining a collaborative effort with the UCSF revenue management team and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate and accurate billing reconciliation and supply utilization; working with department based leadership at both sites to ensure operational efficiency and productivity. This role will also be the operational back-up support to peers in the Gastrointestinal Department during times of vacation, leave, or sick call in a similar liaison capacity. Duties to include:
