The Bureau of Audits, Liquor Control Board Operations is seeking an Auditor 1 to join our team of professionals. This position gives you the opportunity to perform auditing, consulting, and advisory professional journey-level work activities to assist Internal Audit in achieving its mission and service to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Auditor 1, you will have the ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team, completing assigned duties of limited scope, and communicating with the audit supervisor or auditor-in charge. You will develop a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing, and office techniques, have the opportunity to travel to assigned site locations to interview staff and obtain evidence, as well as participate in interviews of PLCB staff to elicit factual information relevant to the assignment. You will be required to have an extensive working knowledge of software such as MS Excel to gather, interpret, compile, and analyze data pertinent to assignments. Work includes performing field work audit activities to ensure that PLCB policy, designed internal controls, and laws and regulations are adhered to. Upon completion of the audits, you will be preparing and organizing the required documentation necessary to support the conclusions reached and the recommendations made. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position is home based but will require field travel. Travel reimbursement is provided along with a state vehicle.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Plymouth Meeting.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
- One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Philadelphia
Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, or Bucks counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered. - You must be able to perform essential job functions.
