Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Schedules, assigns, and coordinates the achievement of daily and weekly production related
assignments. - Ensures that all pipette service related duties such as, but not limited to repair, preventive
maintenance, and calibration tasks are completed within the established turn-around time standard. - Personally oversees and assists the Pipette Service technicians with the completion of daily
assignments and the proper flow of customer orders through the established Pipette Service system. - Demonstrates the ability to repair and calibrate multiple types of pipette products processed by the
Pipette Service Department in an acceptable manner. - Monitors Pipette Service technician quality and conducts unannounced quality "spot" checks on
technicians' work as needed. - Analyzes, documents, and maintains the data relating to technician performance and reports
related information to the Pipette Service Supervisor. - Participates in and administers training to Pipette Service employees, sales personnel, and other
related individuals as directed by the Pipette Service Supervisor.
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of 3 years of related
experience in Manufacturing, Instrumentation, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and prior work experience. Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes is required. - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write simple correspondence. - Ability to effectively present verbal information to customers and
other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. - An individual should have a basic knowledge of computers and a
working knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs
