About the Job

Our North America Operations Rotational Program provides talented recent graduates with a unique employment opportunity to rapidly immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the global baking industry. This is an exciting entry-level cross-functional program at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial excellence. With over 100 years of bakery product expertise, Dawn provides a supportive environment for early career Team Members to complete challenging assignments and experience our vibrant company culture, embrace our core values, and gain valuable knowledge and skills for a rewarding career within operations.

Our 27-month North America Operations Rotational Program provides participants with three (3) consecutive 9-month operations-focused assignments. Program participants will benefit from:



  • Immersive development within manufacturing, distribution, and commercial (B2B) project-based rotational assignments.
  • Intentional on-site employment to gain hands-on experience and demonstrate applied learning within meaningful tasks and projects.
  • Personalized leadership mentoring, job shadowing, and networking opportunities with experienced professionals across the company to accelerate growth.


Work Environment & Travel Requirements:

This is an on-site position. Candidates must reside in or near the following operations-focused facilities Jackson, MI; Louisville, KY; Houston, TX; or Crown Point, IN, to ensure they can work on-site as required.

What Does It Take to be a Rotational Program Participant at Dawn Foods?

Below are the minimum qualifications for the North America Operations Rotational Program:



  • Must be a graduate from December 2024 through May 2025, with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.Participation in the Rotational Program requires geographic flexibility within the United States for multi-site assignments and relocation within the United States every 9 months to gain cross-functional experience and development.
  • Previous professional experiences within challenging internships and relevant work assignments preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability with an eagerness to learn, take on new challenges, and receive developmental feedback.
  • Demonstrative passion for an operations-focused career within the baking industry.
  • Legal right to work in the United States without any employment restrictions.



What You'll Do as an Operations Rotational Program Participant

As a rotational program participant, you will deliver value and results through entry-level on-site experiences and project assignments to discover how our cross-functional operations work together to manufacture, supply, and drive B2B excellence within the baking ingredients industry.



  • Participating within day-to-day operational assignments.
  • Implementing continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Developing essential People leadership skills through assistance, delegation, and partnership with on-site leadership.
  • Leading data gathering and analysis to generate impactful insight.
  • Delivering industry competitiveness through commercial strategy and activations.


Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: Program participants will be required to be on-site as needed for their designated operational assignments. Travel will include centralized development workshops and program experiences.

Note:The level of physical effort may vary from site to site and in some cases be greater or lesser than documented here.Rotational Program Participants may not perform the physical demands listed above daily but should be prepared to do so situationally.

Compensation:

$55,900 to $84,970 and 5% target bonus opportunity.
