IT Asset Analyst II performs tasks in support of IT Asset life cycle. This includes inventory control, audits, purchasing, end of life and support, and coordination with others to ensure software and hardware assets are secure, available, and in good condition necessary to meet requirements and needs of the hospital system.
Employment Qualifications Required Education: H.S. diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred: N/A Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience 3 years related Healthcare IT or Supply Chain Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to gather, synthesize, summarize, and analyze the information. Possess the skill set to solve complex problems requiring the use of analytical, interpersonal, or technical principles and in depth cross functional knowledge. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and concisely, orally and in writing. Possess the interpersonal skills to deal with conflicting views and issues and mediate fair solutions. Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship. Strong detail orientation and ability to prioritize workload with multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced computer knowledge including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Cultural Responsiveness Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Thorough understanding of IT assets management and lifecycle. Workday or ServiceNow experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and recommend new software or hardware assets to meet operational needs. Ability to facilitate, promote and model a professional philosophy and style consistent with VCU Health's mission and vision. Be responsive and have a collaborative work style. Possess the interpersonal skills to deal with conflicting views and issues and mediate fair solutions. Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree. Working Conditions: Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions; cold, hot, dust, wind, etc. May have periods of constant interruptions. Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Prolonged periods of working alone. Work space will vary between Hospital and administrative areas.
