Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role is with a manufacturing company based in San Antonio, TX. The contract duration is 6+ months. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am- 4 pm. OT may be required on Fridays or Saturdays as needed Compensation: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour W2 Responsibilities: Support manufacturing engineers and project managers across different stages of projects Must be open to assisting with any task required to help meet the team's objectives Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing and executing manufacturing plans. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to set up manufacturing process, layout updates, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling Utilize equipment design to verify their accurate and meet industry standards; prepare plans, coordinate multifunctional reviews, keep records and present executive reports Requirements: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing process with a demonstrated history of successfully completing projects and leading new process setup Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office CAD Experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ProE, or similar software) Experience with ERP systems and simulation software Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, cycle time analysis, ergonomics, and facilities/layout design Working knowledge of advanced quality control tools, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., PFMEA, Pareto analysis, SPC). Strong leadership skills including managing engineering teams and projects Experience in preparing and managing project timelines, resources, and budgets Highly effective written and verbal communication for creating technical documentation, reports, presentations, and working with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems. Experience with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and industry-specific regulations. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing work environments Experience with manufacturing equipment installations and tooling setup, systems integration, and automation processes Preferred Requirements: Team Center and NX experience Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
