Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform all operations necessary to operate machines to perform drill, punch, deburring and cutting operations on diversified, close tolerance work.
- Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
- Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
- Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order
- Uses precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in a production/shop position, preferably in aerospace environment.
- Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages
- One to two years of experience in a production/shop position
- Able to follow simple instructions or directions
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion both verbally and / or in writing with other employees, team members and supervision as necessary.
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
- 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
