Responsibilities

As an Individual Therapist, you'll be the guiding light for our clients, conducting assessments, crafting personalized treatment plans, and leading dynamic individual and group therapy sessions. What You'll Do:

Lead the Way: Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions for young adults and adolescents, all while championing Newport Healthcare's clinical model. In this position, you'll focus on therapy, not case management!

Assess & Impress: Conduct thorough risk assessments and create initial safety plans upon admission. You'll also dive into biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans-no pressure, but you'll be the superhero they need!

Team Player: Collaborate with our amazing treatment team to coordinate treatment goals and services, with fun 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates.

Keep Families in the Loop: Share progress updates with parents alongside our family therapist, because teamwork makes the dream work!

Crisis Management: Conduct risk and crisis assessments and provide crisis intervention when needed. Your calm presence will be invaluable!

Document Like a Pro: Complete all documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries) on time and according to our established standards. We promise it's more exciting than it sounds!

Stay Connected: Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision. Bring your ideas and energy!

Represent Us: Join us at meetings, trainings, and conferences to showcase the fantastic work we do at Newport Healthcare.
