Responsibilities

Manpower Analyst

Supports PEO Aviation Plans, Programs, Resources, & Procurement with manpower support. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from providing similar types of support to DOD organizations or DoD contractors. This position requires the candidate to already possess a Secret Security Clearance (Active).


Qualifications

  • Position requirements:

    • Experience collecting and analyzing financial data.
    • Review, analyze, and interpret various financial and manpower documents and reports.
    • Knowledgeable of Army business processes regarding multiple types of appropriations to include Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA), Aircraft Procurement Army (APA) and Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E).
    • Experience in funds execution, planning, and programming of Army appropriations.
    • Experience providing input in preparation for high-level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers, and other vendors.
    • Experience with Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS).
    • Coordinate and track Government Manpower activities.
    • Establishes the Manpowerdata collection guidelines.
    • Oversees routine data updates by Project Offices and HQ staff.
    • Assists subordinate offices with answering questions or resolving issues regarding Manpowerdata updates.
    • Maintains and provides access to the Manpowerdata SharePoint site.
    • Submits updates to the Manpowerdata SharePoint and Human Resources Database (HRDB) site.
    • Coordinates with the G-8 to resolve issues.
    • Provides manpoweradvice in the conduct of organizational review and manpower
    • Utilizes inputs to determine manpowerrequirements and creates and staffs the organization's manpower
    • Conducts studies and analysis of organizational structures and functions in connection with proposals for reorganizations, organizational realignments, and restructuring.
    • Understand and correctly instructs the use of Army appropriation funds for associated Manpower
    • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 1 year experience in Army HRDB.
    • Bachelors and 1 year concentrated in the functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.

    Travel: May require travel up to 5%.
