Role and responsibilities

As an Escalation Support Specialist, you provide second line administrative support for all logistics activities, monitoring, execute and improve stock requests for production issues with materials. The role also contains making sure the IT architecture is aligned with the operational processes and drive these to the next level.

As an escalation support specialist, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

Operational activities

  • Monitor the influx of requests from the Wilton manufacturing teams for material related issues discovered on the manufacturing work floor, and drive resolution for factory stagnation requests towards logistics
  • Monitor if deliveries are created according to the 'delivery creation rules'
  • Adjust delivery timings based on priority for all requests for material replenishment
  • Be the lead along with the MFS Control Tower internal customers (Shift Planning, Cleanroom Logistics, MICC, Manufacturing) and/or the 3PL in case alignment is needed for lost part investigations
  • Process delivery- and/or delivery line cancellation requests and prio changes
  • Resolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating when needed
  • Create and improve the balance in Lost and found bookings

Continuous Improvement activities

  • Identify improvement opportunities in the value chain
  • Participate and/or drive continuous improvement projects
  • Hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.
  • Preferably experience with trouble-shooting: problem solving methodologies (LEAN)

Education and experience

Preferred relevant Bachelor degree (e.g. Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management). Will accept high school degree depending on relevant work experience

  • 2-5 years of experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Management
  • Hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.
  • Preferably experience with trouble-shooting: problem solving mythologies
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP-ECC/EWM and MS office
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Other information

The Wilton Manufacturing Services team is responsible for the storage, planning, assembling and shipment of ASML material, e.g. modules, upgrade packages etc. As part of the Manufacturing Services team, this role is positioned within the Control Tower. The Control Tower is the responsible team for all administrative flows, preventing and predicting stagnations.

You will work in an off shift support schedule, which is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9am - 5:30pm
