The Role

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program Lead will plan, coordinate, deliver, and report IAM programs and the release train. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to align IAM objectives with the organization's goals and facilitate the successful delivery of business value.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution of IAM programs, ensuring they stay within scope, on time, and within budget, working with IAM Leadership on prioritization, alignment, financials, and resourcing.
  • Facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, performance, and outcomes, adjusting as necessary to address issues or changes in scope.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure transparency and visibility into IAM initiatives and their impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and functions on the IAM program.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with the program and ART, collaborating with leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Define and report on metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the program's and the ART's progress and performance.
  • Act as the ART's servant leader and coach, including leaders, teams, and scrum masters; Lead the scrum of scrums.
  • Lead adopting and scaling agile practices within the IAM Program across multiple teams.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning within the ART.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program and ART performance.

Minimum Requirements
5+ years' experience managing, leading, and supporting programs or agile teams in an organization, preferably within Cybersecurity or Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Critical Skills

  • Experience in the delivery of strategic projects and programs of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment from program stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging and reporting to stakeholders on the program.
  • Deep understanding of agile principles, frameworks, and practices, including facilitating to manage and guide Agile Release Trains effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide, coach, and motivate teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in budget/financial and resource planning.
  • Proficiency in identifying and managing risks and issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and drive improvements in processes and practices.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience using agile or project-related tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Visio, etc.)

Education

  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$135,200 - $225,300
