EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in IT Project Management who will be responsible for assisting in the management of mid-size to large, multi-faceted projects and / or multiple projects simultaneously, with an emphasis on technology delivery and implementation, including but not limited to: software development, software or system implementation, data warehousing, technology integration, and automation. The position is seeking someone who is skilled in agile methodology practices and requirements gathering. This role will entail user story and acceptance criteria creation, user interface and data quality assurance testing, wireframe development and mockups, and assistance with overall project delivery.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Supports projects and multi-disciplinary tasks within scope of client program or project through documentation, mock-ups, source-to-target mappings, facilitation, reporting, testing, and administrative activities.

  • Performs assessments of business needs and assists developers to translate these needs into project requirements

  • Works in an Agile environment to support iterative or incremental development and delivery.

  • Produces project documentation and works to keep it complete, current, and stored appropriately

  • Performs system testing of new applications and existing software enhancements to ensure they meet design specifications.

  • Tracks and confirms business system development and implementation efforts.

  • Identifies and clears development and delivery blockers.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and manual testing support tools.

  • Facilitates collaboration between business owners, product owners, developers and QA analysts.

  • Serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Ensures customers are kept informed of development issues.

  • Participates in collaboration with external agencies or departments, if required, and other stakeholders as needed to enable successful development and implementation of complex project workflow and processes.

  • Ensures that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met.

  • Reports to EisnerAmper Advisory leadership (Partners, Managing Directors, Directors, Managers) regarding status of client engagements, including all risks, issues, and opportunities.

  • Exhibits excellent client service skills including the identification of opportunities to provide additional services to clients and/or prospects.

  • Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures,laws and regulations, and keeps current on compliance-related areas.

  • Represents the Firm through consistent, comprehensive, accurate and professional client communication.

  • Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Prioritizes and addresses requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner.

  • Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, work processes and financial performance (e.g., procedure optimization). Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

  • Assists co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.

  • Performs other services as assigned.

  • May participate in Firm recruiting activities.

  • Complies with all professional and Firm requirements (e.g., employee handbook requirements, time entry procedures, audit quality control document requirements, etc.) including complying with confidentiality requirements (e.g. client information, proposal information, personnel information, job-related information, etc.).

  • Attends and actively engages in training sessions and/or meetings as required.

  • Maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing standards.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; concentration in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in project management and delivery are required, with an emphasis on technology delivery, including one or more of the following:

    • Development

    • Software Implementation

    • Business Analysis

    • Release Management

    • Testing

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies preferred.

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of Agile, its values and principles, including backlog grooming, release and sprint planning, Agile status reporting, and more.

  • Retail, eCommerce, healthcare, accounting, data warehousing, data visualization or application development experience preferred

  • Experience in testing, Quality Assurance or Quality Control processes preferred.

  • Demonstrates proactive problem solving.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and project management skill capabilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and within a diverse group of individuals.

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.

  • Able to perform effectively, efficiently and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

  • High degree of professionalism including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

  • Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Agile application delivery processes, system development life cycle, business assessments, and programs such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, TFS is preferred.

  • Experience with querying languages such as SQL is preferred

Other Considerations:
  • May be required to work extended hours during the workweek and weekends, as needed.

  • May be required to travel and work from different company and client locations.
