Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The Information Assurance Manager is accountable for all regional and local aspects of SDA program within the General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) security organization under the administration of the National Industrial Security Program. You'll manage and assure the operational efficiency of the Information Assurance program including financial, staffing, training, and personnel performance. You'll also assure the proper execution of the information assurance vision, mission, and program strategy. We'll rely on you to assist in the development and implementation of short-term security objectives and strategies including policy and procedure change recommendations. What you bring to the table:

- Identifies, prioritizes, and schedules work assignments that impact internal programs
- Creates and maintains accurate records as assigned by management
- Maintains database accuracy
- Process access rights for employees
- Verifies accuracy of data and assists in the completion of government questionnaires and related documents
- Oversees and tracks visit arrangements
- Establishes a tracking methodology while keeping management informed of any deficiencies
- Ensures all required paperwork is completed, filed, and distributed properly
- Provides instruction and assistance to employees in the conduct of administration activities
- Participates in recurring government audits
- Reviews required company and government records
- Generates a quality assurance checklist for completed assignments in support of business activities
- Maintains a computerized system and tracks status for all process-related documents and records
- Communicates with line management personnel to gather or convey relevant program information
- Updates and maintains automated system records as required
- Reconciles all records for assigned program persons
- Functions as liaison
- Assists in the implementation of government requirements
- Ability to anticipate potential problem areas and resolve issues
- Ability to comprehend and comply with detailed procedures and interpersonal skills which enable successful interface with employees and program customers
- Knowledge of all policies, procedures, and ability to interpret requirements and apply them consistently across diverse situations
- Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and ability to prioritize, schedule and complete multiple tasks
- Ability to provide leadership using functional knowledge and interpersonal skills

Target salary range: USD $156,160.00/Yr. - USD $168,970.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
