Brief Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate, with experience in molecular cellular biology preferably in the neuroscience field. The candidate will employ multidisciplinary approaches to understand the molecular and cellular aberrations occurring in human astrocytes with Rett syndrome-causing mutation in the MeCP2 gene, and how these aberrations affect the ability of astrocytes to support neurons. The successful candidate will perform research and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of Stony Brook University. Duties:
