Hybrid Sales Representative

Position Summary:

The Hybrid Sales Representative is responsible for engaging health care professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations and virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)' selling potential and meet program and Company objectives. The Hybrid Sales Representative achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs and by educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The Hybrid Sales Representative utilizes approved tools for product and program promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program and customer activity knowledge.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales.
    • On behalf of Company, promote Company's Product(s) via remote engagements via telephone or video / audio (outbound calls) by engaging assigned HCP targets in in-depth discussions to attain individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, etc.
    • Profile and manage targeted list of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow Product volume.
    • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals.
    • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by Program.
  • Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging, and effectively use approved promotional aids.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Company Product(s) and Program.
  • Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  • Communicate with the RFM, team members and Amplity Health Project Manager on project's progress, as required.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with Company and Company's customers.
  • Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity and Company's Health Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) National, regional and district meetings and training sessions and represent client at National and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Travel which could include conventions or national meetings.

Key Working relationships:

  • Report to Regional Field Manager
  • Work closely with other team members assigned to the Program, Amplity Health Project Management and members of Amplity Health home office support team from various departments.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and Company contacts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required.
  • B2B, pharma, or medical sales desired
  • Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms Zoom, TEAMs, and other remote engagement software
  • Willingness to attend on rare occasion in person meeting with HCP offices (10%-15%)

  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the company.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to successfully complete client training and meet training expectations in order to proceed to servicing client's customers within the parameters of the program.
  • Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend).
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
